How do I attach patches?

For long-lasting results on a variety of fabrics and plenty of street cred, we recommend stitching your patches in place by hand or with a sewing machine.
However, all DIY patches come with an iron-on backing which works great on polyester and cotton fabrics. To apply a patch, plop it wherever you want to permanently attach it, cover it with an iron-friendly cloth (like a pillowcase) and use an iron at its hottest setting to press the patch gently for 30–45 seconds. Let it cool, then you’re ready to rock.
