What are DIY Contests?

Contests are a great way to have fun competitions on DIY, and they also help you find the right DIYers, who you can reach out to gain inspiration, experience and improve your skills.

To participate in a contest:

1. Head to the challenge section.
2. Explore the second row you see, called "Contests"
3. Make sure to explore all the rules of the contest, that you want to participate in.
4. Head to the page of the contest you chose, scroll to the bottom and hit the green “Post” button.
5. Upload your awesome contest entry.

Want to create your own Challenge on DIY? Lots of DIYers do it and you can too! Here's how:

Use the "Create Button" on the top right of your DIY Profile. This button will ask you if you want to:

1.  Host your own Live Challenge or,
2.  Create your own Challenge (use this button to also create a contest)  

Make sure to answer all the questions, to help build your contest and hit submit! Next, a Mod will review all the information you've provided and will put your contest up in the next few days!
